Job Description
Leidos has an excellent opportunity for a Project Analysis to work on the Cargo Mission Contract (CMC). In this position the employee will be located on site at the Johnson Space Center working directly with the EVA and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP).
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for proactively building out, incrementally updating, validating, analyzing, and maintaining the project integrated master schedule.
- Responsible for proactively building out, incrementally updating, and maintaining a set of summary/analysis schedules for ease of team and management consumption.
- Works closely with the NASA PR Project, EHP program, other NASA programs, and international partner teams to identify, document, and report on the interdependencies between the efforts.
- Works closely with the Associate Project Manager to coordinate schedules with higher level organizations (e.g. program, NASA division).
- Works closely with the Associate Project Manager to analyze schedules for technical, risk, cost, and workforce implications.
- Develops, documents, controls, maintains, and leads the PR risk management process.
- Works closely with the NASA PR Project, EHP program, Other NASA programs, and international partner teams to identify, document, and report on the risks associated with project efforts.
- Works closely with the Associate Project Manager to represent, coordinate, elevate,
downgrade, and mitigate risks in coordination with the project and program processes.
- Occasional support of international meetings in the evenings from approximately 18:30 to 21:00 Central Time may be required.
- Occasional international travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications
Requires BS degree and at least 5 years prior relevant experience
- Knowledge of and previous experience in delivering flight hardware to include testing at the project or program level
- Schedule management experience
- Risk management experience
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Significant experience using Microsoft Project
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams and customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Systems engineering experience
- SharePoint Experience
- Knowledge of/experience with the following
