Engineering Principle

Job purpose

Engineering Principle shall provide subject matter expert (SME) for technical requirements development and management in DOORS. 

Duties and responsibilities

• Importing requirements from word documents into DOORS requirements module (including format updates and section number restructuring)
• Work with the design team to refine requirement wording, fill out meta-data for each requirement in DOORS including but not limited to Verification Method, Verification Approach, Effectivity, Parent Requirement Linkage, TBX Log, construct the acceptance and qualification matrix, etc.
• Set up and conduct Peer Reviews of completed DOORS modules.
• Understanding or experience with attitude control systems requirements and Ordnance component requirements will be beneficial but not required.
• All other duties as assigned

Working environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical requirements

• This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.  This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing as necessary.

Position Expectations

This is a full-time position and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  No travel is expected for this position.
