About the Role

Intuitive Machines is seeking an Embedded/Firmware Engineer to join our team. This position will support Firmware Development for multiple areas, including our Nova-C Landers & more. The applicant will be located on-site in Houston, TX. The candidate will work in a cross-functional team on the design, development, manufacture, test, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain embedded flight software features and improvements, microcontrollers.
• Analyze, test and perform I/O performance assessments upon integrated hardware/software solutions.
• Interface with hardware design and development
• Draft unit/integration tests and coordinate high-level testing of features.

Required Education/Experience/Skills

• B.S degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Embedded/Firmware coding skills with C/C++ (C11+) (AVR Platform preferred)

Desired Education/Experience/Skills

• Embedded Systems Development with Real-Time Operating Systems
• Strong Understanding of Electrical Design
• Familiar with RS422, RS485, I2C, SPI and other communication protocols.
• NOVA Core (NASA Core Flight System) experience is a nice to have
• Debugging experience
• Experience with Microcontrollers
