Manufacturing Electrical Engineer

JOB DECRIPTION:
Interprets and reviews engineering drawings, sketches, documents for accuracy and completeness with consideration for producibility, ease of manufacture, and subsequent tooling requirements
Plans and supports department/organizational processes in developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing work plans, bills of material, work instructions, illustrations, and attachments to define and document the "as-built" configuration of detail, sub-assembly, and integrated assembly hardware using knowledge of structural/mechanical assembly, integration and test processes and specifications
Develops and supports manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business- and project-related objectives. Supports and prepares build analyses (make/buy) and assists in cost estimate reports
Assists in the integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and program delivery requirements
Reviews and approves appropriate supplier data and participates in source selection activities to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met
Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements and manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition, as required
Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues and anomalies
Participates and supports in teams performing producibility assessments for part or product concept/design and provides input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
Supports enterprise level benchmarking to incorporate best practices
Supports the development of complex integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
Develops scheduling templates for use by others, as required
Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
Develops and documents new job practices, techniques, and standards

REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System common image (MESci) and Boeing Nonconformance System (BNS) considered a plus
Work under minimal supervision and direction
BS and/or BA degree in related discipline and typically 6 - 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
