Manufacturing Shop Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will coordinate the work flow of the technician's day to day tasks for typically 15 to 20 hourly bargaining unit aerospace technicians. This position will help direct the workflow for International Space Station hardware assembly work involving a high level of development and innovation. The person will also be working with engineering and other support staff on schedule and process development. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customer, stakeholders, peers, partners and technicians. Participates and help leads manufacturing process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS
5 plus years of Aerospace manufacturing management experience highly desired. Leadership skills are essential. Manufacturing, production management, and NASA Manned Space Flight or crew operated defense production or maintenance experience preferred. Experience in working with IAM or other bargaining unit employee's desirable. Bachelor degree a plus. Willing to work 1st , or 2nd shift including weekend and overtime when required is necessary.
