MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

TASK DESCRIPTION:

Provide mechanisms design and drafting support for the Orion Structures/Mechanisms organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform design and drafting drawing release of miscellaneous Crew and Service Module Mechanism development and flight drawings.
• Drawings to be delivered using Creo Parametric2 format
• Support testing and verification activities associated with the hardware design effort as needed
EDUCATION:
• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years directly-related experience in mechanical design & drafting.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
