Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

Job purpose

Mid-Level Full Stack Developer supporting the Cargo Mission Contract.  This position will be responsible for supporting existing custom web applications and databases and developing new custom applications in support of International Space Station support contracts including the Cargo Mission Contract.

Duties and responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions following established frameworks, application development standards and quality processes in projects.
• Assess the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements.
• Gain knowledge and control of client integration endpoints (live API's, Batch, Queue based processing).
• Will work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating with the scrum team on a daily basis.
• Participate in all phases of Agile methodology (planning, grooming, coding sprint items).
• Perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed on the project.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field
• 3+ years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications
• 3+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, C#, AJAX
• Angular.js, Ember.js, React.js, Backbone.js OR other front end JavaScript frameworks
• Dynamic web application development experience with large-scale transaction processing requirements.
• Developing applications in Visual Studio and use of Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Deep commitment to test driven development and maintaining code quality
• Strong collaboration, communication and team engagement skills

Working environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical requirements

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.  This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing as necessary.  This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 10 pounds

This is a full-time position and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No travel is expected for this position.
