Network Engineer

preferred experience includes:
1. Entry level network knowledge, such as VLAN and port configuration
2. Basic knowledge of IPv4 sub-netting and IP addressing practices
3. Strong background supporting desktop computers
4. Strong Microsoft operating system background
5. Strong technical, client and customer relations skills
6. Strong problem management stills
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Alcatel-Lucent and/or Cisco networking experience is a plus
9. Routing and switching experience is a plus

Responsibilities include:
1. Switch deployment including configurations, racking and stacking
2. UPS deployment, which includes configuration and heavy lifting
3. Managing and responding/resolving helpdesk tickets
4. Incident response to network outages
5. Activate and troubleshoot data connections
