Position Description

Development and research of electrical systems and components for air, space, ground systems and instruments.

Conducts electrical/electronic design requirements definition, subsystem and circuit analysis, test plan and procedure development, and safety analysis.

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of engineering design and analysis for electrical systems/subsystems.
• Knowledge of printed circuit boards including thermal analysis, timing analysis, and worst case circuit analysis to optimize design of flight electronics.
• Knowledge and use of standard laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, DVMs, etc.
• Knowledge of analog and digital electrical circuits, EEE parts, electronic packaging design and tools
