Quality Engineer

Provides Quality review of engineering drawings, functional specifications, test plans and procedures to ensure quality attributes are incoporated into product designs. Evaluates conceptual designs  and layouts to assure that sufficiently detailed information exists to ensure that the design concept will be producible and inspect-able. Assures that the plans for inspection, testing and verification are identified and developed. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-comformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Recommends design, dimensional or manufacturing process changes to improve products and reduce costs.
