Recruiter

Responsible for providing professional recruiting services to help the university meet its current and emerging workforce needs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Works with hiring departments to assess recruiting needs, develop candidate profiles, develop recruiting strategies, and initiate recruiting efforts.
2. Coordinates employment advertising and job postings.
3. Screens candidates and refers them to appropriate hiring authorities.
4. Works with hiring managers to review candidate qualifications and determine appropriate offer amounts.
5. Extends job offers and coordinates processing of selected candidates.
6. Compiles data and prepares various activity and specialized reports.
7. Participates in job fairs and other recruiting activities.
8. Other duties as assigned
