Software Test Engineer

• Develop test procedures and test plans to verify the payload configuration files, payload unique applications, Expedite the Processing of Experiments to Space Station (EXPRESS) Logistics Carrier (ELC) configurations, ELC flight Software, and PSIVF Test Environment software.
• Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews.
• Participate in and conduct peer reviews of test products.
• Execute tests in the PSIVF during informal and formal test.
• Document discrepancies and problems.
• Develop and release test reports.
• Participate in and conduct Test Open Records Review (TORRs) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
• Support the continual improvement of processes.

Experience with many of the following operations systems and tools required: 1553, Linux, Unix, DOS, Windows XP and 2007, PASS-3200, and Agilent.  Experience performing Formal Qualification and Verification required.  ISS experience highly desired.

Level of Experience Desired: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years experience; Master's with 7 or more years experience, or PhD with 4 or more years experience.  Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, or mathematics is required.  ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
